Join a passionate, multidisciplinary team delivering person‐centred, trauma‐informed mental health care as part of the Toowoomba Integrated Mental Health Service – Wattle House, an innovative partnership between Each, Wellways, Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT) and Goondir Health Services.
Your role, your impact
As a Senior Psychologist, you'll deliver advanced assessment, formulation and evidence‐based therapies within the Toowoomba Integrated Mental Health Service. Working in a multidisciplinary model, you'll support high‐quality care across face‐to‐face and digital settings, manage complex presentations, and contribute to trauma‐informed, recovery‐oriented and culturally safe practice. You'll also provide secondary consultation and clinical supervision, contribute to multidisciplinary reviews, and support service improvement, clinical governance, quality and safety outcomes.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver evidence‐based assessment, formulation and interventions (e.g. CBT, ACT, DBT, MI, mindfulness, group programs).
* Provide short‐ to medium‐term care aligned with stepped‐care principles.
* Manage complex presentations, including comorbidity, crisis response and de‐escalation.
* Provide secondary consultation and clinical supervision (no line management).
* Participate in case reviews, conferences and collaborative care planning.
* Build partnerships to support integrated referral pathways.
* Contribute to governance, documentation, reporting, audits and accreditation.
Who we're looking for
* 5+ years' post‐qualification clinical experience (required)
* Experience delivering psychological assessment and evidence‐based therapies in mental health settings
* Demonstrated ability to work with moderate to increasing acuity, including complex presentations, comorbidities and dual diagnosis
* Strong understanding of trauma‐informed, recovery‐oriented practice and the social determinants of mental health
* Experience providing secondary consultation or advanced clinical supervision to colleagues
* Sound knowledge of clinical governance, quality, safety and compliance within not‐for‐profit or health settings
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
* Tertiary qualification in Psychology
* Current AHPRA registration (mandatory)
* Current state‐based driver's licence
