About the role
We are currently looking for a Sub‐Supervisor (Junior Supervisor or Junior Foreman equivalent) to join our team in Canberra and support the delivery of a long‐term project.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating daily site activities and subcontractor management.
* Monitoring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Supporting the implementation of project plans, schedules, and site documentation.
* Conducting site inspections and reporting progress to senior supervisors.
* Helping resolve on‐site issues promptly to maintain workflow.
* Maintaining accurate records of site activities and materials.
Qualifications
* Australian Citizen at the time of application.
* Hold, or be able to obtain, a Government Security Clearance.
* Trade qualification or Certificate III/IV in Building and Construction or equivalent qualification.
* 1-2 years of experience in a construction or site‐based role (internships or trade background considered).
* Basic understanding of WHS regulations and site safety practices.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‐paced environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction management software (desirable).
