Transport For NSW is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Manager to join the Injury & Claims Management team in Burwood, NSW. The role involves managing injury claims end‐to‐end, assessing liability, coordinating medical services, guiding injured workers, and supporting timely recovery and return‐to‐work outcomes within a regulated NSW workers compensation environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage injury claims from initiation to resolution.
* Assess liability and evaluate medical and legal evidence.
* Coordinate medical services and facilitate case management.
* Guide injured workers and stakeholders through the return‐to‐work process.
* Navigate and deliver compliant claims solutions that reduce claim costs and minimise case duration in accordance with SIRA requirements.
* Collaborate with employers, doctors, legal representatives, and rehabilitation providers to achieve positive outcomes.
* Prepare advanced reporting using Excel to analyse and interpret claims data.
Qualifications
* 1‐2 years experience in large, complex organisations or self‐insured claims organisations.
* Strong claim‐management skills and knowledge of medico‐legal requirements.
* Proven ability to coordinate return‐to‐work outcomes through stakeholder collaboration.
* Structured approach to claims management and sound judgement.
* Data‐driven decision making and advanced Excel reporting skills.
* Excellent communication skills, trusted by employers, doctors, legal representatives and other stakeholders.
