Project Manager & Site Specialist
About the role:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer & Site Specialist to join our Civil Works team in North Queensland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with excellent communication and technical skills.
* Interpret plans, estimate costs and quantities of materials needed
* Assist with planning construction methods and procedures, coordinate supply of labour and materials
* Consult with architects, engineers or other technical personnel to ensure design requirements are met
* Formulate and maintain detailed programs for site works and coordination of personnel
* Record variations from design drawings or specifications for submission to stakeholders
Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret and implement project plans and specifications
• Estimate and manage project budgets and resources
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and reports
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role is required, with strong knowledge of project management principles, practices and techniques.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with Local Government projects and specifications is desirable but not essential.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and contributing to the success of the project.
