Engineering Design Team Leader

Lead the design of Council's civil infrastructure capital works program, overseeing project planning, standards and delivery. This role drives quality design outcomes, manages a skilled technical team, and ensures projects are delivered efficiently, meeting community needs and organisational goals.

Engineering Development Team Leader

Lead a technical team delivering road and development infrastructure projects, while providing expert engineering input into planning and development. This role focuses on project delivery, stakeholder engagement and improving transport, access and safety outcomes across the municipality.

What you will bring
* Degree in Engineering permitting membership of Engineers Australia with relevant experience or extensive experience in civil engineering design and construction works with minimal formal qualifications.
* Proven civil engineering expertise across design, development and/ or delivery of infrastructure projects.
* Strong Leadership skills with experience leading and developing technical teams.
* High level experience including Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil Cad and simulation software.
* Project Management skills with consistent delivery of project on time and within budget.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
* Collaborative, solutions focused with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
* Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or ability to obtain one prior to commencement.

Salary and Conditions

The position is classified within Band 7 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $104,988 to $117,480 per annum statutory superannuation.
