The Role
This is a hands-on position within our Documentation Lab where you'll turn ideas into practical, well-documented designs. You'll work with SolidWorks and other CAD tools to create accurate models and drawings, collaborate with manufacturing teams, and help refine products for performance and cost-efficiency. What You'll Do
* Create accurate CAD models in SolidWorks with clean, structured workflows
* Produce detailed manufacturing drawings ready for production
* Think critically about design improvements to reduce cost and improve functionality
* Maintain and manage product coding structures for documentation
* Take ownership of your projects with:

* Design with the full picture in mind—manufacturing, installation, and user experience
What Fixture Lab is looking for:
* Bachelor's degree qualification in Product Design, Drafting, Industrial Design or related field is required
* A portfolio that shows your CAD skills and design documentation
* Solid understanding of design principles and drafting standards
* Practical experience in manufacturing is a big plus:
* Cabinetry, sheet metal, and tube steel fabrication
* Hands-on prototyping
* Minimum 1-2 years hands-on manufacturing experience is required
* Familiarity with cost-effective design improvements
* Ability to think critically and communicate constructive feedback
* A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for learning
