About the role
We are seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team at the Peter Pan Literacy Club in Townsville, QLD as a casual Individual Support Trainer. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational training and assessment services to students seeking qualifications in the Individual Support field.
What you'll be doing
* Designing and delivering engaging training programs that align with the Individual Support curriculum
* Assessing students' competency in both theoretical and practical components of the course
* Providing personalised feedback and support to ensure students' successful completion of the qualification
* Maintaining accurate student records and reporting outcomes as required
* Collaborating with the training team to continuously improve course content and delivery
What we're looking for
* Relevant vocational qualifications in the Individual Support field, or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated experience in the delivery of vocational training and assessment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse student cohort
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* A commitment to maintaining industry currency and updating teaching practices
