We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Trainer/Assessor to deliver and assess the Diploma of Community Services and Certificate IV in Disability Support.
About the Role
This role is ideal for an experienced community services or disability support professional who is enthusiastic about teaching and guiding the next generation of support workers. You will deliver engaging classes, assess student competencies, and ensure training aligns with industry and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality training for Diploma of Community Services and Certificate IV in Disability Support
* Assess student work in accordance with the Standards for RTOs
* Provide support, guidance, and feedback to students
* Contribute to learning resource development and continuous improvement
* Maintain compliance with training and assessment requirements
* Coordinate student work placements and liaise with workplace supervisors
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' industry experience in Community Services, Disability Support, or a related sector
* Strong understanding of the Australian community services and disability support framework
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded; candidates working toward it may be considered)
