Medical Director, Breast Screening Role
Join our team in the Sunshine Coast Health region as a Medical Director for the BreastScreen program. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and manage a team of medical professionals dedicated to breast cancer screening and assessment.
The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the BreastScreen program, ensuring high-quality services are delivered to eligible women across the region. They will work closely with the team to develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and contributing to the reduction of mortality and morbidity from breast cancer.
This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have expertise in managing people, leading teams, and making sustainable financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the BreastScreen team
* Oversee clinical operations and ensure high-quality services are delivered
* Develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes
* Collaborate with the team to achieve program goals and objectives
Requirements:
* Medical degree and Fellowship of the Australasian Society of Breast Physicians (FASBP) or equivalent experience
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Experience in clinical operations and patient care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
