Senior 12D Design Drafter – Civil / Land DevelopmentWML Consultants Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Design Drafter to join our Bunbury office.
The role involves preparing designs and drawings for civil, road, land development and drainage projects using 12D and AutoCAD.
Key Deliveries
Design of civil, road, land development and drainage projects in accordance with guidelines, standards and codes of practice.
Site inspections and measurements, with reporting and documentation in drawings.
Contribution to development, maintenance and improvement of job management processes and systems.
Research and incorporation of innovative design solutions where appropriate.
Administration
Assist engineering staff in acquiring electronic and other data from various sources.
Prepare records and manage filing of documentation, drawings, maps, etc., following company guidelines.
Support development, maintenance and improvement of job management processes and systems.
Other duties and assignments as required.
Contract Management
Assist in preparation of tender and contract documentation.
Perform site inspections and measurements, reporting results.
Contribute to development, maintenance and improvement of contract management processes and systems.
Selection Criteria
A Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent skill level).
Comprehensive experience in civil, road, drainage and land development (bulk earthworks), designing internal and external road networks on private development and local authority roads.
Proficient skills in AutoCAD and 12D software.
