Relationships Australia NSW (RANSW) supports people through all forms of relationship distress, delivering timely, compassionate and expert care that strengthens wellbeing and connection across NSW.
What you'll do
You'll receive referrals from the NSW Police and Justice Department and proactively contact men who have recently experienced Domestic and Family Violence (DFV).
You will conduct phone-based safety assessments, identify short-term needs, and refer clients to appropriate services.
This means that client contact is typically one-touch, and due to the high volume of clients needing our support, your ability to quickly build rapport and provide effective support will make a big difference to so many clients.
There are no after-hours requirements.
The details
Maximum term contract for 24 months
3 days a week
Location : Wollongong
Approx $48-$54 an hour (depending on skills & experience) + 12% super, 17.5% leave loading and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900.

What you'll bring
Tertiary qualification in social work, counselling, psychology, or related field
Experience working with DFV and an understanding of the needs of men who have experienced DFV
Ability to undertake client safety assessments and safety planning
Ability to respond to complex referrals involving liaising with police and reporting child protection concerns
Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume phone-based referral program
