**How will I help?**
The Information Security Manager role will be responsible for managing a team of Information Security professionals to deliver a Project Consulting and Certification function, ensuring all aspects of Information Security align with Westpac's policies, processes, business requirements and target risk position for information security.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships with business partners, providing guidance and ensuring productive and consistent service delivery.
- Provide expert technology advice and guidance within a portfolio to assist the business in the formulation of strategy and technology investment decisions.
- Lead the Architecture assessment and governance processes to promote effective governance and solution quality within security Architecture.
- Consistently develop, drive, and recommend potential areas for improvements by maintaining a good working knowledge of Security and emerging trends, to promote continuous improvement and consistent quality delivery of service.
- Lead and develop a team in accordance with Westpac’s people principles and processes, including developing optimal structures and transparent accountabilities, maximising employee performance, providing mentoring and coaching, to ensure the right people in the right roles to deliver information security services required to achieve business objectives.

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role you will have experience in information security, information technology, risk management, audit, or equivalent role. Prior experience managing a team of IT, security, or operational risk professionals and experience in consulting, relationship management, key account management, sales, or marketing role, would be key attributes.
A solid knowledge and understanding of international security and risk-related standards, regulatory guidelines, or frameworks, including SABSA, ISO-27000 series, ISO 31000, PCI DSS, APRA would be desirable, as well as knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to information security and an understanding of financial services industry.
