Job Summary
This role requires a skilled professional to maintain and repair electronic equipment in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and adhering to all Company safety policies and procedures.
* Performing routine examinations, fault finding on component level, interrogation, and diagnostic testing on electronic equipment, as well as installing system hardware and software upgrades.
* Ensuring the test bench and equipment available in the workshop are properly maintained and repaired.
* Following all established safety protocols, practicing good housekeeping, and utilizing safety equipment as necessary.
* Reporting daily and weekly activities, problems encountered, and measures taken.
* Preparing and editing procedures, reports, and check sheets.
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. While not expecting you to possess every skill, we have listed some essential qualifications for success in this role:
* A qualification in electronic repair is highly desirable.
* You should possess good troubleshooting skills in electronic equipment, including PCB board diagnostics.
* Experience with various troubleshooting tools linked to an electronic system (Oscilloscope, multimeter, external power supply) is essential.
* You should have knowledge of ESD principles and application.
* Railway maintenance experience will be advantageous.
* The ability to design test procedures/benches will also be beneficial.
* You must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
