The Opportunity
Our Ballarat site is growing, and they require an experienced MC Truck driver to support their local customer deliveries. Working with a team of long‐term drivers who are all there to support your development, you'll be guided to learn the specifics of this National client requirements and become a valuable member of the growing team. Delivering to various Ballarat customer sites along with Ballarat to Melbourne runs, your days will be consistent and full. Your flexibility to be available on some weekends will also be required, and you will be paid extra allowances accordingly.
Responsibilities
1. Load and unload a range of building materials of all sizes and lengths, in accordance with safety and customer requirements.
2. Transport materials to customer sites locally around Ballarat, along with Melbourne to Ballarat runs.
3. Practice all required load restraint techniques, observing specific customer requirements, to ensure safety at all times.
4. Apply knowledge of local Ballarat and Melbourne routes to ensure efficient runs and delivery schedules are adhered to.
Qualifications
5. Minimum of 2 years MC Truck driving experience & current MC License.
6. Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally.
7. Load restraint experience and understanding, along with a willingness to learn the customer & product specific requirements.
8. Flexibility to be available on a weekend when required.
9. Strong English reading and writing skills to ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately.
10. A clean driving history.
