Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that has been delivering comprehensive, culturally safe primary health care to the Broome community for over 45 years.
About the Role
We are seeking a Trainee Aboriginal Allied Health Assistant to join our Community Services team in a paid traineeship. This is an opportunity to earn while you learn and complete a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.
Working under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and social workers, you will assist patients with therapy tasks, help run group and clinic-based programs, support documentation and equipment management, and contribute to health promotion activities, building practical skills across all four allied health disciplines.
This is an Identified position, open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only, in accordance with section 51 of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth) and section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA).
