Overview
Location: Melbourne
Our client is seeking a skilled
Solution Architect
to join their growing technology team. This role is responsible for organizing the technology logic underpinning key business processes and IT infrastructure—reflecting the integration and standardization requirements of the organization's operating model. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to define, design, and guide the implementation of fit-for-purpose solutions that align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Define and document end-to-end solution architectures that support business needs and align with enterprise architectural standards.
Collaborate with business analysts, delivery teams, and stakeholders to facilitate design workshops and shape technology solutions.
Drive integration and standardization across platforms, ensuring technology choices align with the organization's operating model.
Work with internal and external partners to support solution design, vendor selection, and technology assessments.
Provide architectural leadership on projects involving document processing, content management, and communication systems.
Support the adoption of cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud), SaaS technologies, and automation tools.
Ensure solutions meet architectural principles, security, and compliance requirements.
Required Experience and Skills
5+ years
of experience in
Solution Architecture
or
Technology Architecture
roles within large enterprise environments.
Demonstrable experience delivering complex solution designs, preferably in the
Financial Services
or
Insurance
sectors.
Strong understanding of
architecture frameworks
(e.g. TOGAF) and design principles.
Experience leading or facilitating workshops and building alignment around architectural decisions.
Proven experience with
Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)
tools and
Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
platforms—ideally
OpenText
.
Familiarity with
SmartCOMMs
or similar Customer Communication Management (CCM) tools and their integration with enterprise systems.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following vendor platforms:
SmartCOMMs
OpenText
Tungsten
UiPath
Guidewire
(Claims Center / Policy Center)
Strong understanding of cloud and SaaS architecture, particularly
AWS
or
Google Cloud Platform
.
Certification in
TOGAF
or similar architectural frameworks is a plus
