About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self‐motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. Your focus will be to ensure the provision of high‐quality care to our residents to meet their daily care needs, whilst ensuring they are empowered to do as much as they can for themselves.
Responsibilities
* Provide care according to the care plan, professional standards, policies and procedures
* Accurately collect, interpret, utilise, monitor and report information regarding the health and functional status of residents to achieve their health goals and outcomes
* Develop, monitor and maintain a plan of care in collaboration with the RN, health care team and resident or medical treatment decision maker
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with medication endorsement
* Experience assessing aged care residents and formulating care plans
* Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers
* Interpersonal skills, patience, common sense and a strong ethos of client service
* Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self‐motivated
* Proficiency utilising information technology, with well‐developed computer skills including MS Office
* Proof of work rights and a NDIS Worker Screening Check are required
The successful incumbent will need to be flexible and available to work afternoon shifts.
