Profusion has partnered with a leading Global Investment Manager looking to add a Business Development Manager to their distribution team in Melbourne. This role is central to executing the firm's distribution strategy across financial planners, wealth managers, and stockbrokers.
Key Responsibilities
Grow assets under management by developing and deepening relationships with financial advisors and wealth managers
Lead client meetings end-to-end including all preparation, follow-up, and CRM maintenance, with support from business development associates
Collaborate cross-functionally with regional sales, key accounts, marketing, investment strategy, and capital markets teams to execute national and regional campaigns
Report on individual and team KPIs around flows, revenue, and client activity to the Regional Manager, contributing to broader distribution strategy execution
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
5+ years of industry experience within funds management distribution
Knowledge of portfolio construction & investment management
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills with a proven ability to influence and negotiate
Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a target-oriented environment with cross-functional collaboration
