**About the role**
We currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced Change Manager to join a dynamic and highly motivated team within the Digital Technology and Innovation Team. (DTI). There has never been a more exciting time to join the NSW Police Force as the organisation is in full flight undertaking the development of a major transformational ICT program. The new program will revolutionise the way we do business operationally and out in the field.
The Change Manager will be responsible for development and implementation of change management strategies to support a portfolio of strategic projects, to achieve project outcomes, and support achievement of organisational objectives. This dynamic position will provide the right incumbent an ability to contribute and be supported by a well-established team, as we are delivering this significant ICT transformation program and we want you to be part of our success story
- Develop, deploy, monitor and adjust change management strategies to facilitate and optimise the outcomes of strategic projects.
- Lead a team to plan, manage and deliver communication activities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice and support to project stakeholders and other senior staff regarding change and communications management necessary to achieving the reform agenda.
- Planning for the change management and cultural impacts of reform while ensuring adherence to relevant guidelines/policy requirements, contributing to stakeholder communications and leading consultations and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders who may be affected by the reforms.
- Identify, analyse, report and make recommendations to project stakeholders to address initial and emerging risks to the delivery of key reforms.
- As required, represent project stakeholders in internal and external stakeholder consultations associated with the planning and delivery of key reforms to optimise outcomes.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience in Project/Change Management.
- Extensive experience in formulating and deploying change management strategies to facilitate reform within tight timeframes and multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge in developing and implementing communication and stakeholder engagement strategies in a complex, multifaceted environment.
- Extensive experience in leading, coaching and mentoring a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders and negotiating outcomes.
- Provide recommendation in relation to change management strategies to support the required outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including negotiation, consultation, facilitation and relationship management.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
