About the Role
Procurement Administrator to join our team in Osborne. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to Australia\'s defence capability while developing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Procurement Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to our procurement and manufacturing teams. You'll be involved in everything from supplier engagement and purchase order management to logistics coordination and inventory support.
While you'll enjoy a variety of tasks and challenges, your day-to-day activities will include:
* Supporting procurement processes from RFQ to invoice management.
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
* Assisting with supplier performance monitoring and scorecards.
* Contributing to procurement policy development and supplier agreements.
* Administering purchase orders and assist Finance with receipting.
* Coordinating logistics for incoming and outgoing goods.
* Ensuring compliance with supplier agreements, including warranties and payment terms.
About You
You're a team player with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Your Skills & Experience
A strong administrator with proven experience in fast-paced, structured environments - ideally within the defence or manufacturing sectors.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised; detail-orientated and have excellent time management skills. Experience in procurement or purchasing is desirable but not essential.
High-level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow through on tasks.
Other Requirements
Be eligible to successfully obtain and maintain a NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance (must be an Australian Citizen)
Hold a current police clearance and driver's licence.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.
Ability to travel occasionally interstate and overseas for work and training purposes.
