As our PR & Communications Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping our voice, amplifying our advocacy, and ensuring our messaging cuts through.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Writing compelling media releases, reports, and advocacy materials
* Managing media relations and pitching stories that matter
* Monitoring the news cycle and driving public conversations
* Collaborating with community leaders and policy teams to tell authentic stories
* Strengthening AbSec's presence across digital and traditional media
What We're Looking For:
* 2+ years' experience in PR, media, or communications (bonus if it's in an Aboriginal, NFP, or government setting)
* A way with words—strong writing, editing, and content strategy skills
* Ability to turn complex policy into stories that resonate
* Experience in media relations and advocacy campaigns
