Institute and Health and Wellbeing - Mt Helen Campus

* Part-time (0.5), fixed-term appointment until May 2027
* Academic Level B - $116,527 p.a. (pro-rata) plus up to 17% superannuation

About the role

As an integral member of our team you will be committed to delivering student‐centred high‐quality supervision, learning and teaching experiences, that are closely linked to and reflect contemporary health needs and contexts. In our teaching‐focused role you will contribute to the development and delivery of Speech Pathology units at undergraduate and graduate levels, act as a clinical supervisor at the student‐led speech pathology clinics, and contribute to the institute's administrative functions.

You will:

* prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and seminars;
* undertake assessment and moderation of units in speech pathology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
* undertake teaching and assessment of students in speech pathology and other academic courses; and
* contribute to the institute's administrative functions.

About you

You will work as part of the Institute's team of academic and administrative staff. You will possess proven educational and professional experience. You will be a creative thinker and avid problem‐solver, who possesses initiative, innovation, and a can‐do attitude.

You will possess:

* a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia with CPSP status;
* commitment to scholarship and a potential for academic advancement;
* demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching, and a good teaching record as a clinical supervisor; and
* previous experience in academic administration, including the administration of units and clinical supervision.
