About the Role We're seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a commercial and retail property portfolio.
In this hands-on role, you'll manage leases, tenant relationships, arrears, maintenance, and contractor performance, ensuring each property is presented to the highest standard and performing at its best.
You'll work closely with our Directors and wider management team, providing exceptional service to both tenants and owners while maintaining compliance with all legislative and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities Lease Management Manage all lease renewals, negotiations, assignments, and extensions Lease vacant spaces to suitable tenants and maintain a pipeline of prospects Oversee lease expiries and proactively secure replacement tenants Understand and enforce lease obligations and make-good requirements Coordinate and sign off on tenancy fit-outs and prepare leasing advertisements Operations Maintain properties to the highest standard, including buildings, car parks, and landscaping Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health regulations Engage, supervise, and monitor contractors and maintenance works Manage security measures and emergency procedures (on-call responsibilities apply) Oversee inspection reports and ensure all issues are resolved promptly Arrears Management Implement and maintain a strict arrears policy under direction from the Directors Aim for nil arrears by month-end through diligent follow-up and communication About You Proven experience as a Property Manager (commercial or retail experience highly regarded) Strong understanding of lease documentation and property legislation Excellent communication and negotiation skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional presentation and a proactive, hands-on approach Why Join Us?
