Role Description
This is a casual on‐site role for an Accounts Payable Officer located in Bridgeman Downs. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and implementing systems and processes around retention grants. You will oversee the accounts payable process to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, liaising with internal teams and clients, resolving inquiries, monitoring cash flow, and maintaining detailed records of transactions in the financial system. This role is a short‐term role to start, with the view to a more permanent arrangement. Open to a contract role for the right applicant. Working from home is an option for this role upon discussion.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge and experience in Finance and Accounting principles
* Proven ability in Invoice Processing and managing accounts payable functions
* Effective Communication and problem solving skills
* Attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
* Proficiency in financial software and tools, particularly Xero.
* High level of accuracy in data entry and record‐keeping
* Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* Experience in a similar role is considered an advantage.
* Knowledge of Worker Retention Grants & Children's Services Award would be beneficial to the role.
Salary
Salary negotiable for the right applicant. Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
