The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a National Container Repairs & Maintenance Officer to join our Fremantle team!
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and review container repair and maintenance requests
* Liaise with depots, suppliers and internal teams to arrange and manage repairs
* Monitor repair costs and support cost control initiatives
* Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Arrange inspections or follow-ups for repairs where required
* Support reporting and tracking of repair activity
* Assist with managing third-party claims where applicable
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and keep operations moving
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience in a coordination, operations, administration or similar role
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
* High attention to detail, particularly when working with costs and data
* Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships
* Proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
* Experience in transport, logistics or maintenance environments is beneficial but not essential
* Flexibility to support occasional overtime, including weekends, evenings or public holidays as required
