Marketing Manager – Burwood
Location: Burwood, Role: Permanent full-time. Our client, a well‐established company in the Australian medical industry, is entering an exciting new phase of growth and innovation and is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager. They are passionate about ongoing healthcare professional development for doctors and GPs across Australia, providing high‐quality podcasts, webcasts, learning modules and video content.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the Marketing & Communications team, fostering a collaborative, high‐performing and agile culture.
* Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned to company growth objectives.
* Manage end‐to‐end campaign delivery across email, social media, web, content, events and print.
* Drive audience acquisition, engagement and retention across the organisation's education and CPD offerings.
* Contribute strategically to the growth of the organisation's digital product ecosystem, including AI‐enabled learning and engagement initiatives.
* Support the continued growth and promotion of the nationally recognised face‐to‐face seminar program.
* Lead marketing initiatives for online learning (LMS), podcasts, webcasts, video, editorial and emerging education formats.
* Manage marketing automation, CRM communications and audience segmentation strategies.
* Monitor, analyse and report on marketing performance, audience insights and campaign effectiveness.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across editorial, events, sales, production and LMS teams.
* Manage external agencies, suppliers and creative partners where required.
* Ensure consistency of brand, messaging and communications across all channels and touchpoints.
* Maintain a deep understanding of healthcare professional audiences and the evolving CPD landscape.
* Remain hands‐on with campaign execution, digital marketing operations and content publishing where required.
Qualifications
* 10+ years' experience in leading or managing marketing, communications or digital marketing roles.
* Confident and supportive people leader with experience managing and developing teams.
* Strong experience developing and executing marketing strategy.
* Demonstrated experience across digital marketing channels, CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Active Campaign or similar.
* Strong understanding of audience analytics, campaign reporting and performance optimisation.
* Experience managing multiple concurrent campaigns and projects to deadline.
* Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
* Previous experience in product launching.
* Highly self‐motivated with excellent organisational and time‐management skills.
* Comfortable operating in a fast‐paced and evolving environment, adaptable with changing priorities.
Desirable Criteria
* Preferred previous work experience from the healthcare/medical education/Health Education/pharmaceutical/healthcare certification sectors.
* Understanding of the Australian healthcare professional and CPD landscape.
* Experience marketing events, conferences or education programmes.
* Experience working within AI‐enabled platforms and leveraging LLM systems.
* Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
* Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
