Role Overview
We are seeking several casual Coaches to join our team. In this role you will prepare, deliver, and evaluate training sessions that develop the skills, fitness, and performance of athletes within a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. The casual Rowing Coaches will foster a positive team culture, promote sportsmanship, and encourage individual growth both on and off the water. You will work under the programming of the Head Coach – Rowing and Coordinator from the Sports Coordinator – Rowing.
Key Responsibilities
* Skill development
* Performance monitoring
* Injury prevention
* Ensuring adherence to child safety and safeguarding policies
* Acting as a role model, demonstrating leadership, integrity, and enthusiasm for sport
Qualifications and Attributes
* Willingness to support and promote the ethos and values of the College
* A genuine interest in the sport of rowing
* Previous experience rowing or coaching rowing
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with and encourage young people
* Demonstrated ability to competently drive a speedboat (desirable)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certification or willingness to obtain
* Working with Children Check
