Role & Impact
We're looking for a Design Manager to lead and scale our product design team. You'll shape how design influences everything at Blinq – with a strong focus on mobile‐first design.
What You'll Do
* Lead, mentor, and grow a multi‐disciplinary team of product and mobile designers.
* Define and drive the design vision across Blinq's app, web, and platform experiences.
* Champion mobile‐first principles – ensuring design decisions optimize for usability, performance, and delight on iOS and Android.
* Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Brand to shape strategy and align on goals.
* Oversee the evolution of Blinq's Design System – ensuring consistency across mobile and web.
* Foster a culture of research, experimentation, and user empathy across teams.
* Present design strategy and rationale to leadership, balancing innovation with business needs.
* Drive measurable improvements to user engagement, retention, and overall experience quality.
What You'll Bring
* 8+ years of experience in Product Design, with at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
* A strong portfolio showcasing mobile design leadership – shipping consumer‐facing apps at scale (ideally on iOS and Android).
* Deep understanding of design systems, interaction design, and design operations.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
* Comfort navigating fast‐paced environments and scaling teams in growth‐stage companies.
* Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Notion, Miro, etc.).
