We operate a modern and well‐maintained fleet of Kenworth and Mack prime movers, supported by a wide variety of trailers and equipment across general freight, machinery, and logistics operations.
The Opportunity
TKL Logistics is seeking a reliable and motivated full‐time Yard Hand / Relief Driver to join our growing team.
This hands‐on role is suited to someone with transport industry experience, mechanical knowledge, and a strong work ethic. The successful applicant will assist with day‐to‐day yard operations while also providing fill‐in HC/MC driving support when required.
This position is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required.
Duties Include
* General yard duties and organisation
* Moving trucks and trailers around the yard
* Loading/unloading and equipment handling
* Assisting with basic mechanical maintenance and repairs
* Tyre fitting and general workshop assistance
* Vehicle checks and general upkeep
* Fill‐in HC/MC driving work as required
Requirements
* Current HC or MC licence
* Mechanical knowledge and hands‐on ability
* Experience in the transport or logistics industry
* Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
* Tyre fitting experience
* Current Drivers Medical
* WA Fatigue Management Certificate
* Forklift ticket essential
* Strong attitude toward safety and reliability
* Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate advantageous
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred
