Providing technical assistance to users and support for business systems, ensuring that the business continues to operate effectively.
Develop new solutions to support business processes and initiate new projects.
Maintain and administer existing systems and plan for their upgrades where required.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with internal and external contact points to resolve and review Service Desk ticketsEscalating Service Desk tickets for additional resources as requiredContinuously prioritising and effectively managing tasks and issuesOn a day-to-day basis, providing level 1 and level 2 support for complex systemsAssist with Warehouse Operations and equipment, when necessary, this includes Warehouse scanners, printers, computers and 3rd Party Applications/software.Troubleshoot Audio Visual equipment which includes Boardroom Monitors/TV, Sound system and screensharing deviceMaintain issue logs and produce detailed incident reportsBuilding strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersConfidently articulating problems, issues and providing solutionsCreate and maintain documentation for business systemsProvide successful technical solutions to issues in a timely mannerProvide regular status updates to end users and stakeholdersShare knowledge with other team membersParticipate in solution and process improvementParticipate in an on-call rosterRequirements1 to 3 years' experience in similar roles and be comfortable managing junior staff when requiredExperience supporting VMWare VSphere and/or Microsoft Azure is preferred.Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server ****, and Windows 10 and 11 is mandatoryFamiliar with procurement and liaising with external stakeholders/vendorsSkilled with IT Asset Management including tracking and maintaining IT equipment and servicesUnderstanding of Command Prompt and Windows PowerShellExperienced in configuring Windows devices via SCCM, PXE, and standard installation methodStrong Active Directory knowledgeKnowledge of Linux systemsKnowledge of Backup (Symantec Backup Exec) technologiesExperience supporting WMS and Freight Management Systems highly regardedSound understanding/knowledge of Network Switches and VLAN concepts.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience writing support documentation.Strong problem-solving skills.You will work alongside a team of graphic designers and will need to be able to take ideas from concept to completion.
