Trade Counter Assistant - Plumbing Ringwood (TH)

In this role you will get the opportunity to partner with the branch leaders and the team to expedite your knowledge. As part of the Trade Counter team (known as Branch Staff) at the Ringwood Plumbing branch, you'll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and undertake other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly. Become a trusted Trade Counter Assistant quickly and have the opportunity to move within the region and support other branches to share your expertise.
Typical day
Your day-to-day includes:
* Providing customer service and information about products
* Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
* Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
* Help keep the branch tidy and safe
* Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
* Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives
Qualifications
We'd love to hear from you if you're someone who:
* Has previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
* Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
* Can use a computer and is happy to learn new systems
* Has a clean, valid driver's licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends
* Wants to develop their career - either locally or within the broader network.
