This is a unique ongoing opportunity to join the Resource & Capability branch and play a pivotal role in helping build a capable, safe and future-ready workforce at Icon Water via the competency framework structure. You will work with Subject Matter Experts to develop fit-for-purpose content, so our workforce have the skills they need to deliver an essential service every day.
We're looking for a motivated learning and development professional with a collaborative approach and a proven ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
About the role:
This role is responsible for overall administration of the competency frameworks within Icon Water. This includes framework design and implementation and supporting business SMEs with content development. The role will administer the competency framework process and work with internal stakeholders to attain a consistent approach to competency framework management. This role will also provide support to the Learning Management System Administrator in the day-to-day system administration.
In this role, you will:
* Design, implement and administer competency frameworks to lift the capability of Icon Waters workforce. This includes maintaining accurate and current records, including the tracking of worker progress via the competency matrix and Learning Management Systems, and leading the annual review of such frameworks.
* Review of National Water packages for updates/amendments relevant to Icon Water frameworks.
* Manage the Secretariat function for all framework steering committees.
* Lead the updating of documents relating to the effective management of all competency frameworks, including competency matrix and handbooks. This includes working with key stakeholders to update policies, procedures and work instructions relating to competency management within the Icon Water Information Management System
* Develop and implement a continuous improvement plan to ensure successful, consistent, and efficient delivery of competency frameworks within the business.
* Facilitate internal training courses when required.
* Provide support to the Learning Management System (LMS) System Administrator by assisting with routine LMS activities related to training.
Skills and capability we need:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* Demonstrated experience in high level business administration, including proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, (Word and Excel) including SharePoint
* A background in learning and development and skills to support internal SME's (subject matter experts) in the creation of identified internal competency modules
* Experience in liaising with and influencing internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes, including experience working with Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
* Demonstrated experience in working in and administering a Learning Management System
* Experience in the delivery of training packages and/or facilitation services (desirable)
