Job Description
Personalised Plates Queensland is seeking a capable Mid Level Software Developer to join a small, high performing engineering team. You will contribute across the full application stack, working on React based front ends, .NET & Typescript APIs, and SQL backed data stores, deployed to AWS via automated CI/CD pipelines. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working across multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript
* Develop and maintain TypeScript on Node.js and C# .NET APIs following RESTful, API‐first principles
* Write and optimise SQL queries to support application and reporting needs
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
* Deploy and support applications hosted on AWS, including containerised workloads
* Collaborate with team members on solution design, estimation, and delivery
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards
* Troubleshoot and resolve defects across the stack
* Balance multiple priorities while maintaining code quality and delivery outcomes
Qualifications
* 3–5 years of professional software development experience
* Strong experience with React and TypeScript
* Solid experience building APIs using C# .NET or TypeScript
* Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
* Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines
* Familiarity with AWS hosting environments
* Understanding of API‐based, distributed application architectures
* Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have
* Exposure to Kubernetes or containerised deployments
* Experience working in small teams or product‐focused environments
* Understanding of cloud‐native patterns and scalability concerns
