We are seeking a full‐time HR Business Partner (HRBP) for our Australian subsidiary based in North Sydney. The role will be S1 level.
General Responsibilities
* Develop and implement employee engagement strategies and programs that enhance morale, motivation, retention, and productivity.
* Work closely with senior management and cross‐functional teams to create a positive work environment, drive employee satisfaction, and develop retention strategies.
* Manage day‐to‐day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, compensation, and benefits.
Detailed Missions
* Change Management: Partner with leaders to drive and support organisational change initiatives, conduct impact assessments, engage stakeholders, communicate strategies, mitigate risks, address resistance, and build change capability.
* Performance / Talent Management: Ensure performance management processes are aligned with Group expectations, build talent pipelines, assist in workforce planning, develop succession plans, advise managers on performance issues, plan and execute training, promote a development culture, and support leadership development.
* Business Partnering: Act as liaison between cross‐functional teams and HR, analyse employee surveys, provide policy guidance, lead the Group HR calendar (appraisals, merit, talent review, development, succession), stay current with industry HR trends, collaborate with the CFO on the annual budget, coach business leads on change principles, manage the Workday HRIS system, and coordinate with the APAC HR/COE team.
* Talent Acquisition: Manage recruitment process to attract the right talent, including sourcing, interviewing and hiring, and oversee onboarding and off‐boarding procedures.
* Employee Relations: Ensure compliance with employment law, conduct annual compliance training, manage conflicts, disciplinary actions, grievances, restructures, contracts, and all employee documentation, track HR metrics, maintain accurate records, and liaise with payroll.
* Workplace Health & Safety: Act as WHS representative, maintain compliance, and conduct annual safety trainings.
* Diversity & Inclusion: Develop and implement the Reconciliation Action Plan, coordinate inclusive initiatives, and foster an inclusive workplace through events and training.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* 8‐12 years of HR experience.
* Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field.
* Experience managing HRIS (Workday preferred).
* Strong knowledge of ER/IR processes (investigations, disciplinary, grievance, performance management).
* Experience in change management, budget planning, HC forecasting, and multinational environment.
* Excellent project management, analytical and communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
