Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team on the Baiada Hanwood Administration & Amenities Building project in Griffith, NSW.
This circa $70M project will deliver:
- Administration offices, meeting and training spaces
- Staff canteen, kitchen and lunchroom facilities
- Gymnasium and wellbeing spaces
- Amenities including lockers, showers and change rooms
- External courtyards and breakout areas
About the Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the project through managing design coordination, subcontractor management, procurement, planning and technical project delivery outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and resolving on-site design and construction issues
- Managing subcontractor procurement and administration
- Assisting with project forecasting, budgeting and cost control
- Program management and planning coordination
- Liaising with consultants, suppliers and stakeholders
- Supporting site-based quality, safety and environmental controls
- Identifying design risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Driving positive project outcomes through collaboration and innovation
About You:
We are looking to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, education or large-scale building projects
- Strong technical and coordination capability across construction delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving
- A Construction Management or Engineering qualification
- Previous experience in a Project Engineer or strong Site Engineer capacity
