About the role
Lead the Conduct and Regulatory legal team and provide practical, commercially sound advice across complex legal and regulatory issues.
You will work across:
* People and conduct related matters involving staff and students.
* Regulatory and compliance advice within a highly regulated environment.
* Dispute resolution, including litigation, mediation, arbitration and tribunal matters.
* Requests for information, including privacy, subpoenas and GIPA-related matters.
* Commercial contracts supporting education, collaboration and offshore initiatives.
* Legal operations, triage, reporting and practice management improvements.
The ideal candidate
* Have at least 15+ years’ post-admission experience.
* Strong in-house, regulatory, employment, disputes or higher education legal experience.
* Confident advising senior stakeholders in a complex organisation.
* Strong judgement, drafting, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Able to balance legal risk with practical, commercial outcomes.
