Southwest Hospital Pharmacy is a unique pharmacy in the Bunbury area, providing services to St John of God Bunbury Hospital at the South West Health Campus.
Part‐time or Full‐time, Permanent Role
Weekday role with occasional weekend. Current roster is Tuesday to Friday (30 hours/week), however roster can be adapted to suit the right candidate.
Reporting to: Director of Pharmacy
Role Overview
The primary focus of the role is inventory and ordering management to ensure efficient stock control and supply continuity across the pharmacy, hospital imprest, inpatient, outpatient and cancer care team at St John of God Bunbury Hospital, whilst working closely with pharmacists and dispensary staff to support daily operations.
It is ideal for someone with community pharmacy inventory control and ordering experience, looking to take the next step in a unique and rewarding pharmacy environment. The pharmacy requires team members with a strong understanding of medicines and prior experience in pharmacy inventory management is essential, but hospital pharmacy experience is not.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years of pharmacy experience.
Skills & Experience
* A background in inventory control and dispensary in community pharmacy (essential)
* OR a background in inventory control and dispensary in hospital pharmacy
* Previous experience with Fred Dispense / Fred Office / PharmX (highly desirable)
* Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residence status
* Be available to work weekends and public holidays
