Senior Business Analyst
• Location: Parramatta with 50% in office attendance
• Full time temporary role util 30 June 2027 (35 hours per week)
• Salary – Clerk Grade 9/10 - $129,464 to $142,665 per annum plus superannuation
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of key worker housing across New South Wales.
Working within the Teacher and Police Housing (TaPH) property portfolio in Homes NSW, you will analyse business performance and portfolio data, identify opportunities for improvements and provide evidence-based recommendations that support strategic decision making and better housing outcomes.
What you'll do
* Support the Business Strategy & Performance team to deliver key strategic priorities and manage an increasing program of work.
* Provide analytical capability and data-driven insights to support:
o Key worker housing reform initiatives
o Development of business case for new supply and capital maintenance funding
o Climate risk analysis across the TaPH property portfolio
* Manage business-as-usual portfolio performance data and metrics for key reporting deliverables, including Asset Management Plans and Business Plans.
* Extract and synthesize complex portfolio data from multiple datasets into structured reports/dashboards to give meaningful insights in supporting business decisions.
* Management of one commercial analyst, providing guidance and quality review of their work.
What we're looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to data analysis in property and asset management, or relevant business/financial certification.
* Experience in Salesforce reporting would be highly regarded.
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets to support evidence-based decision making.
