Civil Engineer Job Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead our project delivery team in achieving client commitments and building client advocacy and confidence. This is a newly created role due to strong organic growth, and you will report directly into the Principal with the backing of a team of over 43 experts nationally.
Responsibilities
Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to development application, co-ordination of designs and contract administration. Negotiate with stakeholders (clients, Authorities, other consultants etc) in relation to project deliverables (approvals, applications, contractual matters) to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Develop relationships with potential clients and improve/maintain existing client relationships. Assist Principal Engineers with forecasted workloads to meet project deliverables. Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth. Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgement. Recruit, manage, train and mentor staff. Manage financial targets including budgets, profitability etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience planning and managing projects through involvement in all stages of project delivery. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. Experience budgeting, commercial acumen, and risk management. High level industry awareness and engagement. Relevant tertiary qualifications.REPQ certification desirable
