Senior Data Analyst - Enterprise Transformation Projects
Clayton, Melbourne - Hybrid Work Model
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in the delivery of two major enterprise transformation initiatives. This is an opportunity to work on complex, large-scale datasets in a collaborative environment that values technical excellence and innovation.
As part of a high-performing data engineering and analytics function, you'll design and deliver scalable data solutions, build robust data models, and create insightful reporting tools that drive strategic decision-making across the organisation.
In this role, you will:
* Develop and optimise advanced data transformations and workflows using SQL, Python, and Databricks within a modern Lakehouse architecture.
* Design and maintain reusable data models to support reporting and analytics at scale.
* Create engaging, fit-for-purpose dashboards and reports in Power BI.
* Profile, validate, and remediate data quality issues to ensure trusted datasets.
* Collaborate with engineering peers to maintain coding standards, version control, and best practice workflows.
* Work autonomously on complex data problems while contributing to shared technical assets and capability uplift.
We're looking for someone with:
* Proven experience delivering analytics solutions using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
* Strong knowledge of Lakehouse / Delta Lake / Spark architectures.
* Demonstrated ability to build robust data models and curated datasets.
* Hands-on expertise in Power BI dashboard design and delivery.
* Experience in data profiling, quality checks, and governance frameworks.
* Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Git.
* Higher education sector experience is advantageous but not essential.
