About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cluster Director of Sales to lead the commercial success of two premier properties in the Blue Mountains: Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains and Comfort Resort Leura Gardens. Reporting to the Portfolio Director of Sales & Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate sales leader to drive revenue growth, foster strong client relationships, and inspire a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Executives, Event Planners, and Group Reservations professionals
* Drive revenue across Corporate, Leisure, Conferences, and Events and other group segments
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives
* Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and agencies
* Collaborate closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to maximise occupancy and profitability
* Oversee event sales and planning processes to ensure exceptional client experiences
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics to inform strategy
* Represent the properties at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
* This position is full-time Monday to Friday (occasional weekends will be required).
About You
* Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within hospitality, hotels, or resorts
* Strong track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
* Exceptional leadership and team development skills
* Experience managing MICE, corporate, and group segments
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with Opera Cloud & Delphi systems is an advantage
* Knowledge of the Blue Mountains market (preferred but not essential)
