ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Senior Design Officer, you'll play a key role in Victoria's High-rise Redevelopment Program. You'll leave front-end project design, support relocations, and help deliver large-scale housing developments. Reporting to the Manager, Design and Pipeline Strategy, you'll contribute to procurement and delivery activities while supporting pipeline development, business cases and statutory planning. This is a fixed term role until 30 June 2028.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Manage reference design, site due diligence, and feasibility studies.
* Support project planning and approvals including funding submissions and business cases.
* Coordinate projects across high-rise neighbourhoods to ensure whole-of-program delivery.
* Oversee resourcing, timelines, budgets and evaluation to meet departmental objectives.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Translate complex stakeholder needs and due diligence into viable development options.
* Apply urban design guidance to set projects up for success from concept to master plans.
* Have experience working on housing or infrastructure projects, ideally associated with the Victorian Government.
* Hold a tertiary qualification in architecture, urban design, town planning, project management or a related field.
