We are currently looking for a General Manager Safety, Quality, and Accreditation, a vital position within our senior leadership team. This role involves providing leadership and direction for the development, analytics, insights, and continuous improvement of a systems-based approach to clinical governance and clinical risk management. The position encompasses strategic and governance elements essential for ensuring our organisation's compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
You will:
- Prioritise quality and safety as focal points, fostering a customer-centric culture where feedback is encouraged, and incidents are reported without fear.- Demonstrate leadership in governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across RSL LifeCare operations.- Support the Chief Clinical Officer in promoting a culture of continuous improvement for safe, high-quality care.- Coach Residential Care and Home Care leadership teams on effective use of safety and quality systems.- Utilise digital platforms and organisational data to drive positive changes in service delivery and care outcomes.
Who are you:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Nursing, Health Service Management, Human Services, or related discipline.- Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Quality Assurance, or related discipline, and proficiency working with QA/QM and similar technology systems.- Minimum 5 years management experience in Clinical Governance within health or human services, demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide quality and compliance programs, and providing data-informed analytics and insights.- Experience managing operational compliance with complex regulatory requirements, and demonstrated ability to interpret the regulatory environment, innovate and lead change in fast-paced environments.- Willingness to travel to RSL LifeCare Residential Care and Home Care sites when required.
