The Men's Behaviour Change program is funded by Corrections Victoria and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing to provide services to men to support them to stop using family violence and to be accountable for their behaviour.
Anglicare Victoria will deliver a Men's Behaviour Change program in the lower Goulburn Region covering various locations from Mitchell, Murrindindi and Strathbogie Shire with 1-2 evenings per week. We aim to meet the community where we are needed and as such provide online groups.
What you will do:
* Provide initial intake and assessment for men referred to the program
* Provide individualised comprehensive assessments and therapeutic counselling
* Case management with the purpose of stopping violence in the family and supporting men to develop responsible and respectful relationships.
* Provide therapeutic, psychoeducational case management support
* Face to face support as well as online support
* Work with men to address their use of family violence
* Work collaboratively with Family Safety Contact to support safety of victim survivors
* Connect with the lower Goulburn community to support referrals into the program
Make Your Mark:
* Experience in working with men who use violence.
* Case management skills and a sound knowledge of violence and abusive behaviours and its effect on family members.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* An understanding of the Children and Young Persons Act 2005 and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing – Child Protection.
* Exceptional assessment skills.

* Salary starting at around 110,102 plus super
* SCHCADS level 6
* Negotiable through increments dependent upon experience
* 4 days per week (1-2 days late start and finish to facilitate group participation) finishing at 9:30pm
