Overview:
We are looking for a Data Analytics leader who is passionate about data, highly organized, analytical, and can coach and develop a high-performing team. This role involves leading cross-functional projects, building a data community, managing a high-performing team of data analysts and modeling specialists, and providing support to a large and evolving FP&A organization with increasingly complex data and analytics requirements.
The FP&A team is a hardworking and collaborative team with a mix of technology industry, consulting and financial services background. **North America Compensation**
Zone A: $207,400 - $276,500
Zone B: $186,600 - $248,800
Zone C: $172,100 - $229,500
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
**Responsibilities**:
**In this role, you will**:
- Drive finance-led initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform, influence, and execute strategic decisions
- Empower the data capability and literacy across the Finance group, with a view to drive the team to self-serve data needs
- Employ storytelling techniques to effectively convey insights across various audiences, including company leadership teams
- Support your team's professional development by coaching them in technical, analytical, interpersonal, and managerial skills
Qualifications:
**On your first day, we'll expect you to have**:
- 10+ years of BI & Data experience, with experience partnering with Data Engineering to source and stage data.
- 6+ years of experience managing teams, including as a manager of managers.
- Experience scaling and developing a team of data scientists, with individual contributors to group manager-level direct reports.
- Previous experience working at a strategic level to devise and roll out an analytical roadmap
- Prior demonstrated experience working in and reviewing code in SQL and at least one other data science programming language (e.e. Python, R).
- Extensive track record of influencing business strategy and driving change across organizational boundaries through clear and compelling communication of data-driven insights and analyses.
**It's great, but not required of you have**:
- Exposure to working with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) and finance ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)
- Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience
- A degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, or a related analytical field
- Comfort with structuring and coaching others to work through open-ended business questions through analytics
