Overview
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Council's established Children Services Team for a period of up to 12 months. Within this position you will work across all administration functions of the Pre-School, to collaboratively ensure high quality early childhood education and care is provided to all families.
Responsibilities
Temporary position - up to 12-months Maternity Leave Relief
15 hours per week with access to Flex-Time system
Support administration functions of the Pre-School to ensure high-quality early childhood education and care
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration and/or extensive relevant work experience in a Children's Services environment
Current and valid Working with Children Check, National Police Check and Child Protection Certificate or ability to complete course
Demonstrated communication skills with internal and external customers, building strong working relationships
Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and legislation relevant to Children's Services
Experience in developing and maintaining databases, record keeping and accounting (including invoicing and the reconciliation of financial statements)
