Our client is seeking a senior Data Platform & Analytics Lead to drive the evolution of its data governance, analytics, and cloud data platform capabilities. This is a hands‐on leadership role that combines strategy, architecture, governance, and technical delivery.
Reporting to the Data & BI Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the organisation's data strategy, uplifting governance practices, and ensuring the Snowflake and Azure data platforms are scalable, secure, and fit for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mature enterprise data governance, quality, and stewardship frameworks.
* Drive the design and optimisation of the data platform, including data modelling, integration, and reporting architecture.
* Provide technical leadership across Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, data warehousing, ELT/ETL, and analytics solutions.
* Develop and enhance enterprise reporting, semantic models, curated datasets, and BI assets.
* Coach and mentor data professionals and business stakeholders, promoting strong data literacy and governance practices.
* Partner with project teams to ensure data considerations are embedded into business and technology initiatives.
Your skills and experience
This role would suit a senior data professional who can operate strategically while remaining hands‐on with technology.
Technical Skills
* Strong Snowflake experience.
* Azure Data Factory and modern cloud data platforms.
* Data warehousing, data modelling, ELT/ETL, reporting and analytics.
* AWS exposure is advantageous but not essential.

* Strategic thinker with strong architecture and design capability.
* Comfortable rolling up their sleeves and delivering technical outcomes.
* Resilient, pragmatic, and commercially minded.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence rather than direct.

Ideal Background
Consulting experience would be desirable, having the ability to make decisive actions, understand business challenges, navigate ambiguity, and build credibility across stakeholders.
