GHD Summer Internship Program 2026/27 – Regional Western Australia

About the Program
The internship spans three months, normally beginning in November and concluding in mid‐late February to align with our next graduate intake. Interns may also continue working on a casual basis after their formal internship period.
Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities
* Work in design teams to support the delivery of projects.
* Assist in bid and tender preparation.
* Participate in the broader Intern challenge and receive meaningful feedback.
* Explore a variety of GHD career pathways across engineering, science, project management, architecture, and other consulting specialities.
Application Process
* Screening: Applications are reviewed as they come in; most screening occurs after the application deadline.
* Virtual Assessments: Candidates record answers to straightforward questions and complete cognitive games to demonstrate work style and alignment with GHD.
* Interview: Successful candidates interview face‐to‐face (where possible) to discuss behavioural questions and assess fit.
* Offer: Final details such as salary, start date, onboarding, and pre‐start expectations are communicated.

* CV: Snapshot of studies and experience.
* Cover Letter: Explanation of career interests and communication skills.
* Transcript: Academic history covering core subjects and electives.
