Our Client is one of Western Australia's fastest-growing specialists in premium uPVC double-glazed window and door systems. From our manufacturing base in Balcatta, who design and install German-engineered products across Perth, Bunbury and Margaret River, with showrooms in both Perth and the Southwest.

With over 55 five-star Google reviews and more than 500 WA homeowners through our doors last year, we've built a strong reputation for quality and service, and we're only gaining momentum.

They serve two distinct and growing markets, homeowners replacing existing windows and those building new homes, giving us a resilient, diversified business with year-round demand. Their product range spans the full spectrum of window and door systems, from tilt & turn and casement windows through to smart slide, lift & slide and stacking doors, with new additions continuing to broaden what we offer.

With approximately $20 million in annual revenue and a team of around 25, we are now at an exciting inflection point. Continued growth demands a dedicated operational and commercial leader, and that's why this role has been created.

The Opportunity

This is a newly created role, built to meet the demands of a business that is growing rapidly and needs strong operational leadership to match its ambition.

As General Manager, you will take end-to-end accountability for the business, from factory production through to on-site installation, customer delivery, and financial performance. You will lead a diverse team across manufacturing, administration and installation, drive P&L outcomes, and build the operational foundations that will carry the company into its next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing and trade services environment, leads from the front, and is energised by the challenge of scaling a business that is already winning.

What You'll Do

* Hold full profit and loss accountability across a $20M manufacturing and installation operation
* Drive revenue growth, margin management and cost discipline across the business
* Partner with the CEO/owner on commercial strategy, pricing, and market development
* Establish and monitor financial performance metrics, reporting regularly on business outcomes

Operations & Delivery

* Lead end-to-end operations from factory production through to on-site installation and customer delivery
* Own operational planning, scheduling and resource allocation across manufacturing and field teams
* Ensure systems, processes and compliance standards underpin all operational activity
* Oversee supply chain and logistics to support efficient and reliable product delivery
* Lead, develop and retain a team of around 25 across manufacturing, administration and installation
* Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, quality and genuine care for the customer
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding and team capability development as the business scales
* Drive team engagement, creating a positive and collaborative working environment

Customer & Brand

* Champion the companies brand, upholding our reputation for premium quality and exceptional client experience
* Oversee service delivery standards across installation, aftersales and warranty management
* Maintain and grow our strong customer satisfaction and Google review outcomes

What You'll Bring

* Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operational leader in manufacturing, construction supply, or trade services
* Demonstrated full P&L ownership experience in a business of comparable scale
* Track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams across both production and field/site environments
* Strong commercial acumen, you understand margin, cost, and revenue levers and how to pull them
* Natural leadership presence, you build trust, drive accountability and elevate the people around you
* Operational discipline, you implement systems and processes that stick, and you hold the line on standards
* Experience in windows and doors, building products, or residential construction is highly regarded
* A genuine passion for quality, service and doing things properly

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.
