Role Description
We are seeking an SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) professional responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting the SAP SSAM solution. The role focuses on enabling efficient enterprise asset management, field service operations, mobile maintenance processes, and integration with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP systems.
Location and Compensation
Brisbane, Queensland
Salary: AUD 150,742 – 171,215 annually (subject to internal processes).
Responsibilities
* Requirements gathering & business process analysis
o Work with stakeholders to understand maintenance requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
* Solution design & architecture
o Design overall SSAM architecture including data models and mobile integration.
* Configuration & customization
o Configure work orders, notifications, condition monitoring, and mobile workflows.
* Mobile application enablement
o Implement and optimize SSAM mobile app using SAP BTP Mobile Services.
* Integration management
o Manage integration between SSAM and SAP S/4HANA PM/MM/SD/FI/CO modules.
* Testing & quality assurance
o Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and mobile sync validation.
* Support, maintenance & upgrades
o Provide ongoing issue analysis, troubleshooting, and support for version upgrades.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
* 15+ years of IT experience, including 10+ years in SAP EAM.
Preferred Qualifications
* Expertise in SAP Service and Asset Manager features.
* Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PM/EAM and Fiori apps.
* Experience with SAP BTP, Mobile Services, MDK, and GEF (Online & Offline Maps).
* Strong understanding of enterprise asset management and field service operations.
* Excellent communication, problem‐solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in utilities, mining, or oil & gas industries.
* Prior experience on SAP Mobility Project Implementation.
* Exposure to Agile or SAP Activate Methodology.
